On March 1st and 2nd, the Petersen Automotive Museum celebrated the 60th anniversary of “America’s Sports Car,” the Corvette. The event drew loyal Corvette fans from around the country, who were eager to see hundreds of fine examples of their favorite vehicles.
The anniversary celebration was throughout all four floors of the Petersen’s parking structure. Each level featured stunning examples of Corvettes from every era.
At the top of the parking structure, a few unique Corvettes were featured, including a beautiful selection of Stingrays and other rare Corvettes…
The legendary Vic Edelbrock was on hand to celebrate with Corvette fans, including me!
The tribute also featured the West Coast debut of the 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray. On display for two short days, this sleek sports car was easily the most popular vehicle of the show.
While the newest model only graced the Petersen for two short days, there were several other gorgeous Corvettes on display for a much longer engagement. We’ll bring you a sneak peek of the gorgeous Corvettes inside the Petersen later this week!
