Vintage cars captivate us because (aside from many other enticing reasons) they transport us to a different era.  When we visited Vic’s Garage during the Rev’ved Up 4 Kids Car Show this past weekend, a peek into Vic’s Garage was much more than we bargained for – taking us to a bygone era and to the roots of the Edelbrock company itself.

1933 marked the beginning of Edelbrock, and also the beginning of a long career dedicated to producing quality products aimed at changing the landscape of the aftermarket automotive industry.

Throughout Vic’s Garage, which is filled with classic specimens of American automotive ingenuity, there are also tons of photos of Vic and his automotive pals throughout the years.

Photo after photo shows Vic elbow-deep in automotive business, from machining in the shop, to tinkering with a race car, to perfecting the next Edelbrock part.

It’s no surprise that the overwhelming favorite color showcased on the majority of Vic’s collection is classic Edelbrock red.

Among the classic vehicles, we found this 1967 SS Camaro, a Hot Rod Magazine Test Car and the first SS Camaro in California.

There’s just a bit more Edelbrock goodness to come this week…. stay tuned!
