If you missed yesterday’s coverage of the Temecula Rod Run, you’ll definitely want to check it out here.  If you liked the first taste of what the Rod Run had to offer, you’ll love the second half…

This little roadster, titled Half Moon Bay Bomb Factory, had killer detail.  The owner hit a perfect 10 with this chosen theme, right down to the bomb shell air cleaners.

The paint choice on this vintage beauty was superb – the matte blue finish and the pinstriping design made it a knockout!

We loved the sleek, streamlined presence of this Impala – the length of this car alone is incredible.  Wouldn’t you have loved to see this beauty cruising the highway?

Talk about a show stopper – this car drew tons of attention from hot rodders.  The metal flake in the burgundy on the roof was a great touch.

You may recognize the plate of this Corvair from Monday’s vanity plate post… “LA VAIR.”

With incredible length and a fascinating profile, this beautifully restored ’58 Olds was quite the presence at the show!

We loved the two-tone green paint scheme on this hot rod.  The pearlized darker green on the bottom made this vintage vixen stand out from the crowd.

So… you know you’re a vintage car nut when you see an emblem like this and your first thought is that it would make great art for your house.  Yep, I’m not ashamed to admit it.  I seriously had that thought when I saw this “Dynaflow” detail.

And last but not least, the winner of the most extreme themed car (yes, it beat the hearse from yesterday’s post) is this truck…

Now you can see why it beat the hearse, hands down!  So what I really want to know is – does he really take this car to go fishing?

The Temecula Rod Run was certainly a show worth attending.  Hundreds of classic cars in the midst of a great classic town, drawing an enthusiastic crowd out to support a great cause.  Be sure not to miss it next year!

Nice write up about your trip. I do something similar to you with my Street Spots.
