A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!

Spotted this HOT BUS the other day. Not sure why it’s called Hot Bus. Maybe it’s because it doesn’t have AC or it caught fire once or maybe it’s fast. Yep, there are some fast VW Buses out there.

Ha! That’s my bus. It has a 2.1L T1 hot-rod engine in it currently with plans to put a 2.7L 911 engine, that’s sitting in my garage, in it in the near future.
This is on my way to Kundensport where I work as a Porsche restoration mechanic.
