A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!
So, you want to drive a convertible through the wine country, but you don’t own a convertible. You can always rent a 1959 Jaguar XK150 DHC to feel the wind in your hair (if you have hair). We spotted this curvy motorcar while in Monterey and thought it was a pretty cool service to rent old cars to cruise around in. Much better then renting an econo box for the day.
