A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!

Our kind of hauler and hard to miss in bright yellow. This was one clean F100 and the matching wheels just add to its coolness. Just a guess that it sounds as good as it looks.

I buy this generation F-100’s and put the front suspension and brakes from 2003+ Crown Vic’s, plus the engine, transmission and rear suspension and brakes from the donor Vicky. Makes for a great upgrade to and old beast. Road mileage, driven reasonably. can be over 20 MPG, and handling, ride, drive-ability, and braking is greatly improved. F-100’s configured like that with a rotisserie overhaul, sell as fast as completed.
